It was very cool to see. This image was taken with a 30 second exposure with our <a href="http://www.nikonusa.com/Find-Your-Nikon/ProductDetail.page?pid=25438" target="_blank">Nikon D60</a>.  I found more info <a href="http://home.hiwaay.net/~krcool/Astro/moon/moonring/" target="_blank">describing this phenomenon here</a>.</p>

<p><a class="lightbox" title="Night time crystallized snow" href="/resources/p620/1.jpg"><img style="display: inline; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; border-width: 0px;" title="Night snow" src="http://www.integratedwebsystems.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/night_snow.jpg" alt="Night snow" width="244" height="165" align="left" border="0" /></a> I also took another one a couple weeks ago after the snow storm hit us pretty hard. I live in the Midwest, and we typically don’t see this kind of snow. This image was taken a few nights later when the snow had time to melt a little and then re-crystallize on the surface.</p>
